Rong WANG received the Ph.D degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2018. He completed the postdoctoral research at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School from Sept. 2018 to Aug. 2020. He joined the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Sept. 2020, as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering. His research focus on the 3D printing and 4D printing of ceramic materials, the design and manufacturing of terahertz photonic crystals and metamaterials. Dr. Wang has published 10 research articles in journals such as Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Materials & Design, among which "Modulation of terahertz properties of 3D ceramic photonic crystals via post-creation non-metal anion doping treatment" (Journal of the American Ceramic Society 2019, 102, 4688) won the JACerS Best Paper Award in 2019.
